Suzanne Reynaud-Roepke, Ph.D., LEP
Dr. Suzanne Reynaud-Roepke (Dr. Seuz) first began her “training” in human behavior and mental disease as a child growing up with her father, who was both a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, educated from Harvard and later, Stanford. Suzanne herself, earned her BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, a Masters in Special Education at University of Nevada, Reno; and both a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology and Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Southern California. Upon completion of her PHD at USC, she was awarded by the National institute of Mental Health a postdoctoral fellowship in the Dept of Psychiatric Research at UC San Diego Medical School
She brings 35 years in combined disciplines of psychology and special education. She is a California and Nevada credentialed school psychologist and a licensed educational psychologist along with holding California teacher credentials in multiple subjects and in special education. Although she was in private practice for several years as both a psychotherapist and educational consultant, her primary practice for the past 20 years has been as a school psychologist for Inyo, Mono and Calaveras Counties County Offices of Education before spending her last 3 years with Fremont Union High School District.
Suzanne has recently transitioned into private practice exclusively and in addition to providing services through ARI, Inc., she acts as an independent contractor for schools in Inyo County, California and in Mineral County, Nevada.
Suzanne’s passions are dirt bike riding in the Eastern Sierras, hiking, cross country skiing, yoga, music, photography, wine tasting, traveling, college football, and visiting her two grown children as much as possible. Suzanne is also on the board for the Sacramento Jazz Educational Fund as well as Assistant Director and board member for the Hot Jazz Jubilee Festival held every Labor Day weekend in Sacramento. She continues to be a member of California Association of School Psychologists, the Santa Clara County Association of School Psychologists, and the National Association of School Psychologists.
